STEP BACK IN TIME When finished in the museum,
visitors walk an asphalt path back in time.
It does not take a great stretch of the imagination
to feel what things were like for this family 100 years ago.
The house looks much as it did when Zerelda was giving the tours
and is fully furnished with items that belonged to the James and Samuel families.

The farm looks almost as it did over 100 years ago!

On your way to the farm you will walk down the asphalt path
to a wooden bridge.Look to your right from the bridge and see where
Jesse and Frank went swimming as children.
This is also the creek that the boy's mother, Zerelda,
replinished her pebble supply for Jesse's original grave.

You'll meet your historical guide on the front porch of the
1893 "Eastlake Cottage" addition.
Are you ready to go inside?
